Compass Drawings
If you place an orienteering compass on the floor, away from any metal or magnetic objects, the needle will point to Magnetic North. However, if you place another compass or a piece of Guernsey granite containing magnetite nearby, the magnetic energy from the other compass or the stone can be stronger than the Earth's magnetic pull, causing the needle to shift direction. This concept was the core idea behind all the compass drawings.
